After a little research I came up with the following based on information from my website at www.howardkw.comWhat can I get in Knoxville and Maryville for $100,000 – $130,000 in 2012?
I recently had a buyer ask me about what homes were selling for in Knoxville, TN and Maryville, TN in the $100k – $130k price range. After a little research I came up with the following based on information from my website at www.howardkw.comI set up Communities Served based on the ZIP Codes for various area. There may be a little bleed over from one to another, but I do my best with that restriction to at least cover the areas. It is based on projected upcoming changes in the MLS that will be using the same criteria.
I’d probably be hard-pressed to find these exact homes, but these are the AVERAGES.
For $100-$130:
In Knoxville/Knox County there are currently 391 homes for sale. The average home for sale in the price range has either a city lot up to a half-acre or so, it’s 37 years old, has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and is around 1,400 sq ft. It also has probably not had many of the internal systems updated, if it is updated it’s probably smaller in size.
In Blount County there are currently 113 homes for sale. The average home for sale has an acre of land, is 41 years old, has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, is around 1,300 sq ft. Probably hasn’t been updated, if it has been updated the size is probably much smaller.
In Maryville City – there are 41 homes for sale. The average home for sale is 48 years old, has 3 bedrooms 2 baths, and has around 1,200 sq ft. Probably hasn’t been updated, if it has been updated the size is probably much smaller.
