Thinking About Selling?
You’ve spent 10, 15, maybe 20 years building equity in this market. The real question isn’t just what your home is worth. It’s how to put what you’ve built to work for what comes next.

Which streets flood in a hard rain. Which school zones carry a premium. Which neighborhoods are quietly appreciating. Search live listings, then let’s talk about what the data doesn’t show.

I’ve been a landlord since 1999 and still own and manage property today. Whether it’s your first rental or your next multifamily, you get an agent who has signed the same loan documents you’re about to.

Seller Secrets: The East Tennessee Home Seller’s Guide covers pricing, prep, and negotiation in this specific market. Not generic advice recycled from a national blog. If you know someone weighing a sale, I’d like them to have it.

Buying or selling a home in East Tennessee is your decision, on your timeline, for your reasons. My job is to make sure you have what you need to make it well: accurate numbers, an honest read on the market, and someone who tells you when the answer is “wait.”
About 90% of my business comes from people I’ve worked with before or people they sent my way. That shapes how I work. When your neighbor refers you to me, my reputation is on the line in a way no advertising budget can replicate.
How This Works
We start with a conversation, not a listing agreement. What are you trying to accomplish, and by when? Sometimes the answer is to move now. Sometimes it’s to wait two years and put on a new roof first. You’ll get my read either way.
I’ve lived in South Knoxville, Bearden, and Fourth & Gill. I’ve walked these neighborhoods and talked to the people in them for more than two decades. Jay Papasan featured that approach in Rookie Real Estate Agent, and it’s the same one I bring to your search: wander, listen, absorb. You can hear more of it on A Knoxville Podcast, which I’ve hosted since 2007.
Where I Work
Primary markets: Knox, Blount, Loudon, and Sevier counties.
What I handle:
- Residential buyers and sellers, first-time through luxury
- Relocation into East Tennessee or within it
- Historic homes in Fourth & Gill, Old North Knoxville, and Downtown
- Investment and rental property
- Land and commercial, on select opportunities
North of Kodak, or west of I-40/75 toward Chattanooga, I’ll refer you to an agent I trust in that market rather than pretend I know it as well as I know this one.
What You Get
One person, start to finish. I’m a solo broker. You get me, not a coordinator or an assistant learning your file.
A read you can act on. Every market cycle since 2003, applied to your specific street.
Room to decide. No pressure, and no urgency I manufactured.
Someone still here in five years. The goal is a client for life, not a commission this quarter.
Don’t take my word for it. Read what past clients have said.
Let’s Talk
Whether you’re ready next month or just starting to wonder, the first conversation costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. Most start with a simple question: “What’s my house worth?” or “Can we actually afford to move?”
